NFTs, Big Money & Being Community

I understand that NFT art is a rising value. As a part of this world, I produce and sell works. But first of all, I would like to say that I think NFT is much more than a work of art. The more art there is in real life, the more there will be in the nft world. As time progresses, you will see that many things in our lives turn into NFT. (with ID, licenses, title deeds, important documents, etc.) for this, it is necessary to look deeper into what the Non Fungible Token issue is. But that’s not our topic right now.

The issue is actually the returns of NFT and the spirit of the community.

As in all areas of life, I spend a great deal of time observing and understanding here.

I believe it will be worth it, because time is too valuable to buy. It is important to be able to sell our work, we all need money, but more importantly, can we be a sustainable part of this new world?

I observe that many people look at the subject as a new market. This is not just a platform where you can earn big and go. this needs to be understood. But most of the artists are very unfamiliar with words like Metaverse, WEB3.0, Blockchain DeFi, Crypto.

Worse still, as I mentioned earlier, if you’re buying a piece of art, it’s very important that it’s an independent production.

If the piece you bought as a piece of art was prepared by the artist (!) watching you with an increased probability of being sold to you, it doesn’t seem like much art.

I regret to say that many artists (!) I have observed are after the highest income they can get and go. This is toxic behavior. I see the high numbers the creators have earned, and I see many of them not collecting anything even once. I don’t think this is sustainable behavior in the community.

Such attitudes breed narcissistic selfish personalities of their time. Jealousy is another breaking point of the community spirit; I observe that artists who earn high money resources are envied and defamed in real life. money is not something to be envied, what you should envy is the value and contribution produced. Jealousy for money dulls your mind. But if you envy success, you try to put something on it, and that way this world becomes more valuable. If you trade your desire to produce for avarice, you will be blunting, not creative.

I don’t think the pre-architects of this community imagined it that way. If they did, I’m in the wrong place.

However, I think that one of the most important dynamics of being able to sell works is the policy of price determination. Unfortunately, none of us have a coherent opinion on this. We determine the price by following the traces of previous artists or similar works. I determine the price based on my real-world needs, what I want to achieve from the NFT world, and the dimensions that I will share with those who support me during the production phase. But sometimes I have a hard time understanding whether it is too much or not. This is a very controversial subject, but it is worth dwelling on.
